Apple Vacations wins China Airlines Million Ringgit Award 2017

(Kuala Lumpur) Apple Vacations is honoured to receive China Airlines Million Ringgit Award 2017 for the 8th time. The award was presented on 6th April 2018 to Bernard Woo, Apple Group Chief Operating Officer who received the reward on behalf of the group, by Steven Lim, Passenger Sales Manager of China Airlines and Robert Chin, General Manager of China Airlines. The event was held at Grand Harbour Restaurant, Fahrenheit 88.

This is the 10th consecutive year Apple Vacations has been receiving awards, and are looking forward to many more successful years with China Airlines as a strategic business partner.

China Airlines was founded 16 December 1959, with headquarters in Taoyuan City, Taiwan and different hubs as well as cities both in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and Hong Kong respectively. With a fleet of 86 aircraft in total ranging from Airbus A330-300, A350-900 and Boeing 737-800, 747-400/f and 777-300ER, China Airlines operates over 1,400 flights weekly to 118 airports in 115 cities (including codeshare) across Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania.

The airlines received numerous domestic and international accolades in 2017, including the International Trophy at the 128th Rose Parade in the US, 2017 Cheers Magazine “Top 20 Employers”, “Gold Trusted Brand” of Reader’s Digest Asia for 19 consecutive years, 2017 Air Cargo Excellence Award from the Air Cargo World magazine, the 2017 TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Award, and the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence for the Dynasty in-flight magazine.
