Residents Of Three Towns Received 23 Millisieverts Of Radiation
Poses No Specific Cancer Risks

The Fukushima Prefectural Government said Monday that residents in three municipalities near its crippled nuclear plant were exposed to as much as 23 millisieverts of radiation in the four months after the meltdowns triggered by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.
The estimated radiation is unlikely to cause any adverse health effect.

正在对全县约200万人进行健康管理调查的福岛县20日公布了核事故后约4个月浪江、川俣、饭舘3个町村约1万人受到的外照射估算值,除核电站作业人员以外最高辐射值达23毫希。
无明确致癌危险,今后的主要工作将是尽可能减少过量辐射。
