The duration of the event is never too long, this year it starts from 30th June and end on 3rd September! Hence it is just roughly over two months duration plus and minus a few days only.
We all know the Japanese are very detailed in their culture, be it in work, maps, city infrastructure, train schedule and especially in their cuisine, taste and presentation. A testament to the many Michelin Stars restaurants and chef found in Japan and throughout the world. It comes as no surprise that even in planning FUN Universal Studios Japan does their best! The Summer Splash Market has been created with every detail in place just for this years fun!
Yes, it’s an annual summer event, but the theme will definitely be different year on year! Walking along the stretch you can see little children running around barefoot and wet from playing! As there’s a small water playground area facing the lake, where parents can watch them. You can grab lunch on the go with some spicy Mexican Turkey Leg and wash down with cold beer or end your meal with cool desserts. You get one shot at a game when buying food or drinks coupled with vending machine games. There are Minion prizes to be won!
What to pack for your day here? Don’t forget sunnies and sunscreen and a change of clothes and towels is a must. Well if you don’t – DO NOT WORRY! You can always purchase your favourite characters from the merchandise stores found at every corner!
