Universal Studios Japan creating Despicable Me Minion “Mayhem” at Minion Park this SUMMER!
Leading towards Minion Park you are greeted with cute Minion carts selling summer merchandise and snacks. Really hard to resist as they are all Minionized leaving you NO CHOICE BUT TO TRY every one of these snacks found only in summer! Varying year to year, some items might even be a one-off item which might not be repeated the following year.

BUT before you explore further … my advice is to head right in by-pass the Minion fountain (you can’t miss it) and right at Gru’s Mansion. Make sure you qualify yourself into a “villain” at the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem Ride. This should be your “1st” thing to do. As we were ushered in we were greeted on-screen by Gru, Margo, Edith, Agnes and of course Minions, preparing us to be Minions! The 18 minute hyper-realistic projection system ride is obviously not for the faint of heart – prepare for massive laughter ….
Now Minions …. you are free to explore!!
Would advise you to have loads of extra space for pictures, batteries and power banks to be ready, as every turn you make is picture worthy. On the East side you will find sweet factory, renovated warehouse and Minions favorite boutique line. On the West is Minion Marketplace. Try your luck in getting lil’ Agnes Unicorn because “It’s So Fluffayyyy!!” (Minion fans you know what I mean) And don’t forget to bring back these cute lil Minion Merchandise with you! You can see people resting on the park’s grassland …. against a bright blue sky just simply enjoying!
By far the “ONLY” and “LARGEST” Minion Park and one of the three places in the World (only in Asia by the way) where you can experience the “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem Ride”.
For those of you who have children or even if you don’t, this is a MUST VISIT AT LEAST ONCE IN A LIFETIME STOP.
My suggestion is to head to Gru’s Mansion and que for the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem Ride first of all.
It’s “Banana” flavoured caramelized popcorn! Too yummy!
Many people just lazed around on the grass, eating, taking pictures or just resting ….
