VIP visit from HIDA-TAKAYAMA Tourism & Convention Bureau
(29 August, Kuala Lumpur) The Chairman of Hida-Takayama Tourism & Convention Bureau Mr. Yasunori Hori and the team made out of Hida-Takayama Tourism & Convention Bureau, hoteliers and restaurant owners visited Wisma Apple on Monday, 28th August. Hosted by Apple Group Managing Director Dato’ Sri Koh Yock Heng (Koh San) and the team from Apple Japan.
Central Japan has always been one of the destination in Japan for Apple Vacations. However in 2014, Apple Vacations begin to focus on Central Japan, working together with Hida-Takayama Tourism & Convention Bureau to promote this area rigorously. Three years later the destination has produced a 10% growth, as the prefered destination for Japan tours. Apple Vacations is the agency which lead the most Malaysian tour groups to beautiful Chubu Region!
We welcomed Hida-Takayama Tourism & Convention Bureau team, hoteliers and restaurant owners from Chubu Region, setting aside time to visit Apple Vacations here in Kuala Lumpur, at the same time taking the opportunity to strengthen relationship and discuss on future co-operation in promoting Central Japan with Apple Vacations.
Gifu Prefecture Tourism Federation and its community of hoteliers and restaurant owners, has first noticed the pressing need for Muslim friendly facilities and gourmet many years ago. Mr. Yasunori Hori has helped in the initiation and implementation, by playing an active role in encouraging the local tourism business community in Chubu Region to set up Muslim friendly facilities. Today the region is one of the most equipped with hosting Muslim travelers from the observation of authentic local halal gourmet, accommodation and even a Mosque for prayer time. Working together with Apple Vacations, by having further understanding the needs of Muslim travelers, with hopes to encourage more Muslim travelers to visit beautiful Gifu Prefecture.
