This year’s summer, Minion has practically taken over Universal Studios Japan with it’s opening of Minion Park the world’s largest and only one in Asia! I had the popcorn Minion and it’s wearable with a Minion themed lanyard. Conveniently strapped while walking around to explore, I munched on Banana Flavoured Popcorn – of course! What else does Minion likes?! Not forgetting the cute yellow Minion pork buns, Minion cookie and Blue slushy on a hot day.
After a fun filled Minion Heche-Mecha Snow Party, we’ve decided to lunch at One Piece UTAGE Restaurant. Was welcomed by the sight of a giant dinosaur skeleton in the middle and the cool relief of air-condition. Appetite UP-ed due to all the energy and laughter earlier on, I choose a hearty meal of juicy grilled pork steak, crossed potatoes and all time favourite Japanese rice. One Piece Character is everywhere!
Fast forward after catching “Dragon Ball Z the Real”, an amazing REAL 5 Sense Experience in a fight by Son-Goku. Practically the whole auditorium was transported into the fight! Upon exiting we did not miss to purchase one of the Dragon Ball pork bun and orange sorbet cased in a Son-Goku riding Cloud cup. Simply refreshing!
As the evening approach we made our way to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Transported entirely to Hogwarts, of course we had to catch the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It was awesome and scary at the same time when Dementor made its appearance! As we prepare to catch Harry Potter Expecto Patronum Night Show, first a visit to Three Broomsticks Restaurant. Ending the night with a hearty meal of grilled pork ribs, grilled chicken with salad on the side and of course Butter Beer! You can bring back the cup!
Frankly three meals a day is not enough time for you to explore all the food you can find at Universal Studios Japan! No wonder the Japanese invest in Universal Studios Japan Annual Pass!
