TELEVISION host Owen Yap was made the new Apple Vacations ambassador during the AVC B2B Appreciation Night 2018 event at Bujang Lapok Cafe in Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur.
A signing ceremony was held between Yap and Apple Group executive chairman Datuk Seri Lee Ee Hoe.
Yap thanked Lee and Apple Group managing director Datuk Seri Koh Yock Heng for the recognition.
“The best thing about travelling is the people we meet and making new relationships,” said Yap
“Travelling enriches a person. If you travel with family and friends, you get to spend quality time with them and in the process gain a better understanding of each other.
“If you travel on your own, you earn time with yourself,” he added.
Meanwhile, Lee said, “Travelling will never cease. As we have a common belief and responsibilities towards tourism, let us take this opportunity to work closely together not only for business, but for the nation’s tourism industry.”
